Hey guys!

The previous session was rather laid-back as it marked the culmination of our theoretical classes, setting the stage for our impending English learner instruction next week. Commencing the session, our instructor meticulously arranged the group assignments for the upcoming week's teaching sessions. Our group, aptly named Group Five, is responsible for crafting engaging listening activities scheduled for October 5th. These activities encompass a spectrum of topics, including numbers, the "Verb to Be," and classroom objects. A crucial aspect is keeping a keen eye on how our fellow groups execute their tasks, as it will furnish us with insights into the students' prior knowledge and enable us to reinforce these concepts creatively, preventing monotony or redundancy.

The class further transitioned into a group conference with our teacher, delving into a reflective analysis of the class we conducted during the previous semester. The purpose was to gather feedback and receive our scores. Initiating the discussion, the teacher probed our preferences and inquired about potential alterations we would implement if we were to revisit that class. One consensus that emerged was that we often found ourselves racing against the clock to complete our activities, yet we managed to accomplish them all. In essence, the instructor lauded our performance, deeming it a remarkable class despite the time constraints, and commended the quality of our activities. With anticipation, we look forward to the genuine classroom experience, hoping it will infuse a palpable sense of excitement. This brings us to the close of today's entry—a succinct update. Stay tuned, as next week heralds the commencement of our inaugural class!
